Olivet College is hosting a wine tasting fundraiser and art silent auction Friday, Oct. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the colleges new Riethmiller Blackman Art Building. The event, which takes place as part of Olivets 2010 Homecoming, Celebrate the Arts, is open to the public.

Participants will be able to enjoy Black Box wines from Argentina; Monterey County, Calif.; and Snake River Valley, Wash.; as well as chocolate wine and other selections. The art silent auction includes more than 50 pieces from Olivet College visual art alumni and faculty members.

Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple. Proceeds will be used to purchase equipment for the new art building.
