Olivet, Mich. The Three Divas, female vocalists from Battle Creek, will perform a recital at Olivet Colleges Margaret Upton Conservatory of Music Recital Hall on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:30 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, features a variety of music including sacred, opera, folk, spiritual as well as songs from Broadway.

The Divas include Loretta Gulley, soprano; Lynda Hensel, soprano; and Kathleen Strang, mezzo-soprano. All three are long-time members of the Battle Creek Community Chorus. They have performed with many area groups including the Battle Creek Boyschoir, Battle Creek Girls Chorus, Battle Creek Symphony Orchestra and Battle Creek Civic Theatre.

The Divas will be accompanied by violinist/organist Ramona Kime Graessle, who serves as an adjunct associate professor of music at Olivet.
