Olivet College Performing Arts Department announces spring 2011 season
Jan 12, 2011

Olivet College’s Performing Arts Department has announced its spring 2011 season. All concerts are free and open to the public.

Events feature several unique performances, including a lecture recital by faculty artist-in-voice, Bill Henson; a Broadway choral concert at the Oaks Theatre in downtown Olivet; an innovative wind ensemble concert in Mott Auditorium; and a two-act comic opera (sung in English) by Franz Joseph Haydn, titled The Diva.

Also this season, senior Kayla Green, of Mason, will present a one-woman musical theatre show, and senior Kellie Carden, of Lansing, will present her senior recital with strings and harpsichord. For more information, including dates and times for all performances, visit www.olivetcollege.edu/academics/pdf_docs/spring_11_perf_arts_poster.pdf. Or call Timothy Flynn, Ph.D., Performing Arts Department Chair, at (269) 749-7660.
