What’s on your campus visit bucket list? Tell the expert OC Admissions team and they’ll make sure every item gets checked off during VIP Week. Monday through Friday, Feb. 12 – 16, accepted students have the chance for a completely customized visit experience while getting the royal treatment. In addition to an actual red carpet, there’ll be tons of OC swag and sweet treats.
“Oftentimes students are just unsure what to look for in a college until they make a visit, and that’s why we created VIP Week to give them the ultimate visit experience,” said Jared Stratz, assistant director of admissions. “Our goal is to show students they are our top priority, and a customized visit geared toward connecting students with all of campus is invaluable to the college search process. Interested in connecting with a professor? Visiting a classroom? Talking more about scholarships and financial aid? The VIP visit experience is for you!”
During a VIP week visit, you’ll get to tour campus and see where you’ll study and live, including classrooms in action and a room in the residence hall you might live in. Plus, you’ll get to dine in the Kirk Center to experience some of the hot, fresh flavors cooking up every day. Admissions reps and financial aid staff will help answer all your questions too.
But it doesn’t end there!
Students are encouraged to dream big, and tell us exactly what they want to learn about life as a Comet. Coaches and music ensemble directors are available to meet with students and their families to explain opportunities available for athletes and performers. Or, learn more about majors and programs that interest you from professors in every field from art to science, criminal justice, insurance and more. Extracurricular activities, scholarships, meal plans and housing are just a few aspects of college – explore them all!
