Many families believe they cannot afford to attend a private college. What many people do not take into consideration is that there are numerous types of financial aid available to help students pay for college. In addition to state and federal grants, student loans and work opportunities, Olivet offers a variety of financial aid opportunities. Aid is awarded based on considerations such as student need and academic merit.

The FAFSA

Students can receive need-based aid. To be eligible to receive financial aid, students must complete and file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Students enrolling in college for the fall of 2022 will submit the 2022-23 FAFSA between Oct. 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022 and use 2020 income and tax information.
