Marygrove Current Students
Current Marygrove College students interested in transferring to Olivet College
Olivet College is partnering with Marygrove College to help you make a seamless transition to our campus. We’ll honor your earned credits (where a 2.0 or higher grade has been received), honor the financial aid package offered at Marygrove, and help you stay on track so you graduate as quickly as possible. Contact Jim Weidman, director of admissions, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 800.456.7189 for more information. You may also schedule a campus visit or apply online.
Olivet College is committed to maximizing your credit transfer in order to ensure your graduate on time. Students who intend to graduate within a year (rising and continuing seniors) will be eligible for a teach-out arrangement subject to HLC approval. All students (regardless of anticipated graduation date) will transfer their earned general education requirements with a 2.0 or better, in addition to their program credit as determined by an individualized transcript evaluation upon admission. Our goal is for you to complete your degree at OC in the same amount of time that it would have taken you at Marygrove.
Olivet College will ensure Marygrove students receive the same or more financial aid than they did at Marygrove. Transfer students will also be eligible for the “Marygrove Grant,” which will ensure that out-of-pocket costs are the same for the 2017-18 academic year as they would have been at Marygrove. There will be a few exceptions to this as it relates to those who are athletes and students receiving some form of tuition remission. We will work with these students to develop an aid package that fits each individual financial situation.
Steps for applying for aid
