The Olivet Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale will perform on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Olivet Congregational Church, 125 College St., Olivet, Michigan. There is no cost to attend.
The Olivet College Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale will be conducted by Olivet College Director of Choral Activities Joel Moore and accompanied by Rachel Drury. The choirs will feature selections from multiple genres and time periods, including music from contemporary composers. Multiple soloists will also be featured in the concert. Both choirs will join forces to perform a movement from Johann Michael Haydn’s “Vesperae pro Festo Sancti Innocentium” arranged specifically for the Olivet choirs by Marshall resident Brooks Grantier.
