Olivet College’s premier graduate program is our Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Our MBA program offers specialized concentrations in Insurance (MBA-Insurance) and in Enterprise Risk Management (MBA-ERM), as well as a General concentration that tailors our curriculum to your goals. Our format is tailored to student needs. We offer live, online, instructor-led, virtual, classes that allow you to participate from anywhere, on any device, via the internet. And, we offer “Flexschedule” that lets you participate in the class not in real time, yet interact with the professor with the full classroom experience. You can “time shift” the class to meet your professional schedule or your learning preference. Through this program, you will learn from expert faculty who are industry executives and professionals, and have plenty of opportunities to network and collaborate with classmates from all over the United States.
Olivet College has been approved by Michigan to participate in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach to state oversight of postsecondary distance education. At this time, California is not a SARA approved state, consequently we will not be accepting students that live in California until further notice or approval is granted.
A total of 33 credits must be completed within 7 years to earn the degree. At least 21 credits must be earned at Olivet College. The Olivet College MBA program recognizes that MBA students may demonstrate mastery of select course content through graduate coursework or through professional designations such as CPU, CPA, CFA or FRM. As many as 12 credits may be waived or transferred. Applications for course waivers and transfer credits are accepted following admittance into the MBA program.
Each course is 3 credit hours. Students must earn a 3.0 or higher grade point average to continue in the program and to graduate with the MBA degree. For an official description of courses and degree requirements, please reference our academic catalog.
