Amy Radford-Popp, Ph.D., is Olivet College’s Director of Career Readiness & Leadership Development. In addition to overseeing the Career and Leadership Development Center, she is the Director of the Women’s Leadership Institute. Dr. Radford-Popp previously served as the Dean of Student Engagement at Olivet College. As a seasoned higher education professional, her passion for career readiness and leadership education provides a strong foundation for her to support students, faculty, and staff.

Dr. Radford-Popp has worked in higher education for over 30 years in various student success and academic affairs roles. Before coming to OC, she was the director of a living, learning, and leadership business community at Michigan State University. She also held adjunct teaching positions at MSU, Lansing Community College, the University of Virginia, Greensboro College, and North Carolina State University. Dr. Radford-Popp holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Washington & Jefferson College, a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Radford University, and a Ph.D. in higher adult and lifelong education from MSU. She resides in Potterville with her spouse and two children, and she and her family enjoy being active in the local Charlotte community.

My focus is on promoting experiential learning and high-impact practices to foster intellectual, ethical, personal, and professional development inside and outside the classroom. My interactions with current students, staff, faculty, and alumni have made it clear to me that Olivet College is indeed a special place,” Dr. Radford Pop said. “I look forward to building a vibrant career-ready community, enhancing experiential learning opportunities both locally and regionally, and fostering a culture of student leadership that thrives on the foundation of ‘Education for Individual & Social Responsibility’ for all who choose to call Olivet College home.”
