Hannah Mellino ’19 serves as the archives administration and communications assistant at Olivet College. In this role, Hannah works with the Hosford History Center and Lawrence Archives to manage research requests, mentor student-researchers, host special events, and overall maintain the culture and daily activities of the Archives. Hannah studied visual arts and graphic design with a concentration in biological illustration as a student and OC, and she enjoys using her artistic background to design museum exhibits, graphics and other unique projects for the Archives as well.
“The friendships with the students created through our very strong team dynamic in the Hosford has made this job exceptionally fun and rewarding. Discovering history and often feeling like a modern day ‘Indiana Jones’ or characters from ‘Night at The Museum’ or ‘National Treasure’ has for sure made the experiences of this job worthwhile,” Hannah said.
