Jacob Richards ’18 serves as community service coordinator and director of the Difference Maker program. He organizes all aspects of service learning for students, including annual Service Days, service trips and special volunteer opportunities for students in the Difference Maker program. Richards is the founder of Christian Comets Connect (C3), a club that gives Christians at Olivet College a chance to connect with one another and grow their faith. Richards is also pursuing a Master of Divinity degree from Western Theological Seminary. He welcomes students to visit his office (Mott 203) anytime to talk about service learning or play a round on his Atari.
“I enjoy working at OC because of the family- style relationships we have cultivated here. I also enjoy getting to know our students, who give meaning to my work. I want to provide students with as an enjoyable experience as I had as an OC student myself,” Richards said.
