Joshua joined the Olivet College family in 2020 and serves as the coordinator of housing operations where they manage the housing assignments and meal plan selections of all students. They serve as the Blair Hall director where they lead a residence hall of just under 100 students. They also serve as the coordinator of gender inclusive initiatives where they lead the LGBT+ community support group on campus called Q & A (Queers and Allies) and supervise the Gender Resource Center.
Joshua graduated from Calvin University with a bachelor’s degree in writing, and they write poetry whenever they can. Prior to joining the Olivet College family, Joshua served as a financial services professional where they helped families protect loved ones and prepare for the future. Joshua enjoys the outdoors whether it is camping, kayaking or fishing. Joshua is also passionate about mental health and advocacy on college campuses, and they are pursuing a master’s degree in counseling.
