Tamyra S. Walters ’80 serves as the Physical Plant manager at Olivet College. She has served OC for 32 years, originally working in housing, conferences and events. In her current role, Tamyra is responsible for managing the campus events calendar as well as payroll and the work order system for maintenance and housekeeping. She also reserves campus spaces for special events.
“I came back to work at Olivet College because I truly enjoyed my experience as a student and fell in love with this place,” Tamyra said. “My favorite thing about Olivet is that you never know when you will impact a life. I have had students tell me that the roommate I assigned them was a forever friend, or they stay in touch to share their weddings and babies with me! That is what makes it all worth it.”
