A student organization that provides a diverse opportunity to give praise through song to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The choir also has additional ministries that include Prayz N’ Motion (praise dance, mime and sign ministry), Prayz (praise team), poetry, rapping, stepping, greeters and ushers.
This student organization was established to provide environmental programs for the campus and community, sponsor field trips, attend environmental conferences and seminars, volunteer at the annual Michigan Crane Festival and participate in the campus recycling program and the habitat restoration efforts at the college’s biological preserve.
The CJHS is a group of Olivet College students who are interested in the criminal justice field. Students discuss ways to get more people involved in the criminal justice program, fundraising and ways to help the community. The group is a member of Alpha Psi Sigma, a national organization that gives students the opportunity to attend conferences and network with other young criminal justice professionals. One of the group’s annual events is hosting a blood drive.
The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is an organization founded to encourage women to study and pursue careers in the mathematical sciences, and to promote equal opportunity and treatment of women in the mathematical sciences.
A student-based organization that promotes the arts through various activities on and off campus, including special exhibitions and field trips to area galleries, museums and art studios. First-year students who are recipients of the Visual Arts Talent Scholarship will be part of Art Alliance.
A nationally-award winning chapter of the American Chemical Society, one of the world’s largest scientific organizations, that provides students with an environment to promote chemistry and expand the community’s knowledge about the subject. The chapter is a resource for avid chemistry students as well as a safe haven for students who are simply interested in the field.
