La’Rae M. Trice began singing in choirs when she was just five years old. By 16, she was teaching and directing youth choirs and adult praise teams in both church and high school. Ms. Trice continues to teach and direct at her home church, Tabernacle of David in Lansing, Michigan. In 2012, she earned a bachelor’s degree in music business with a concentration in production from Belmont University in Nashville. In 2014, she co-produced her first album, “Rhythm Man,” released in 2017. After earning a master’s degree in business administration from the European School of Economics in Rome, Ms. Trice returned to Lansing and accepted the position of gospel choir director at Olivet College. She is thrilled to be working with young men and women who share a passion to praise through song.
