OC Admissions Reps

Kori Ramirez graduated from Olivet College in 2017 with bachelor’s degrees in journalism and mass communication and sociology and anthropology. She credits OC in helping her develop the confidence to travel and chase her dreams. As an admissions representative, Kori hopes to help other students develop their own courage to pursue success in all aspects of life.

“College will always be a large stepping stone to the rest of your life,” Kori explained. “Since my own time in college, I’ve been able to do so many things I never thought I could — Olivet College helped me get there. I’m looking forward to helping students earn their degrees so they can travel and find those really neat things after college.”

Prior to returning to Olivet College, Kori honed her skills in sales. Most recently, she served Productions Plus as a Chevrolet product specialist. In a unique prior role, Kori worked at Walt Disney World’s ESPN Wide World of Sport and Animal Kingdom. During this time, Kori developed outstanding customer service and communication skills, in addition to upholding a safe, fun and positive work environment.

Further, Kori’s background includes roles leading, mentoring and coaching youth and high school soccer teams. During her time as a student, she also developed writing, social media and information processing skills.

Kori assists students form Ionia, Clinton, Saginaw, Shiawassee, Genesee, Tuscola, Sanilac, Huron, Ingham and Livingston counties. She uses her variety of skills and experiences to connect with and welcome students from all backgrounds. Kori especially enjoys helping future Comets learn the benefits of small classes and showing students that there is always help available, beginning from the first time they step on campus.
