OC Admissions Reps
Madelyn Notenbaum graduated from Olivet College in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in financial planning and business administration with a concentration in finance. Her passion for admissions has grown since serving as a student associate on the team, greeting students, leading tours and helping to create an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for families.
“I love being able to show students and families why I chose Olivet and all that it was able to offer me. I can help prospective students better navigate the college decision process,” Madelyn said. “I can not only tell them the opportunities that I was involved in but ensure those same opportunities are available to them. I’m excited to recruit students to this amazing institution because, from my experience, Olivet College can provide them with the best college experience.”
In addition to her studies, Madelyn was a captain of the women’s volleyball team during her undergraduate studies, and she is also a fellow of the President’s Leadership Institute and a graduate of the Women’s Leadership Institute. She is eager to use these experiences to build deeper connections with prospective students.
“The opportunities and relationships you can explore while pursuing higher education is something that students can’t obtain on other paths after high school,” Madelyn said. “Being able to connect with your professors and make life-long friendships is what college is about. Pursuing higher education can also open doors to career paths that students never thought would have been possible. I look forward to being an integral part in helping students learn more about our amazing college and show them the benefits of being an Olivet College Comet.”
Madelyn works with students from the Michigan counties of Allegan, Berrien, Cass, Kent, Muskegon, Ottawa and Van Buren, as well as all out-of-state students, excluding students from Illinois. Madelyn is from Hudsonville herself, and especially enjoys building connections with other students from the Grand Rapids area.
